I'm never this eager to write a review! And maybe this will be my very first review about accommodation during traveling..
Last week my family and I went to Malaysia (I will write the whole activities in that country later, as soon as possible I promise), in the last night, we decided to spent our night in different way, in palm tree resort (so when you look from above, it would be like palm tree)
I spent my night on 25 June - 26 June 2017. I was so excited to go to AVANI because they offered lots of magnificent new view and facilities for my family and I..
When i booked the room through one travel website, they said i can check in after 3 pm, and that was ok for me, since i came from traveling around KL on that day, and I also arrived around 2.45 pm at the resort.. I used taxi from KLIA around 100 ringgit 40 minutes! (Oh i thought it's not that far..)
Staying a night in here, i have mixed feeling experience..
It's my first time to wait for the room key in a really long time! I queued until 3.05 pm to meet the receptionist and couldn't get the key because he said the housekeeping still inside my room to clean everything.. so i just registered and he asked me to sit first and enjoy the welcome drink.. I complained to him and said, "but it's already 3 pm..". And i asked when will be the exact time that i can get my key.. he even didn't know the answer.. and he said will call me later.
I waited until 3.30 pm, my family and I were really tired and bored. They even didnt give us the room number, so we cannot login the wifi (there's no free wifi and the signal there was so bad even i used the strong signal card from malaysia provider!) and in the end we just waited looking at the brown dirty sand.. with so windy, i can easily caught cold if i was there longer
3.40 pm
i cannot wait anymore and queuing again.. and will insist for my key.. and the thing that really shocking me out was.. the man in front of me, just asked the availability of the room, paid and directly got the key!!! After him, it's my turn and the malaysian lady just gave me the key!! Omg..... Before the previous receptionist said he will call me.. but there's no call from him!
It's all queuing for check-in:
Not only that, the hotel was so crowded:
After we went to the room, we was so happy because the view was so good, the room was spacious and so great..
we're ok at that time.. we're not thinking about our disappointment through check-in process anymore.. look at our happy smile..
We went to the swimming pool and it's so crowded..
at that time we still thinking maybe because it's holiday time.. we tried to order some food and the service was also ok.. no more disappointment we thought..
Until we decided to go back to the room, we ordered ice cube, and it took a really long time until i almost forget that did order........
Another problem was in my master bedroom, one bed lamp side was broken.. and because the lighting in the room was so limited, when one lamp was broken, we can really feel it. I called again the room service to fix it.. but because we wanted to have dinner, we decided to call again later after dinner, so we will in the room when the technician come.
Dinner time, i read from the menu, for the buffet dinner was 70 Ringgit, but when we arrived, the waiter said the price for that night was 99 ringgit because it's eid-ul-fitr celebration.. Actually we didn't have any choice, because it's too far, expensive, waste time if we eat outside the resort. Luckily the waiter only charged me 2 person for 3 person, he said "we only charged you two person for three person because it's hari raya"
the food was ok, lots of indian food like curry lamb, briyani rice but also malaysian authentic food like nasi lemak.. my family and i felt satisfied about the dinner..
Finally we went back to the room, and call the room service to fix our bulb.. and we waited so long for the technician to come.. until my family slept already and i put "don't disturb" tag in front of our door....... i was scared they will come and disturb our sleeping time..
The day after, we really enjoyed the sunrise.. even it's not last for a minute! So fast and pop! It's gone!
But it's was so goooood! I love the colors..
After we took a shower, we did breakfast..
I was so shocked that the line for the breakfast was soooo soooo long!
This was my first time in this kind of expensive hotel, must queuing first before take a breakfast.. but overall the food was good..
After taking a breakfast.. it's already 10 o'clock.. and i decided to packed all things and check out.. i was scared the check out things will take another so long time..
so i directly call the lobby to send the buggy car to my room..
And unexpectedly, the check out time was so fast!!! I even don't need to go back to the receptionist and give back my card..
And i call my previous taxi driver to pick me up and send me to KLIA
For your information about the transportation going in or out here:
Oh! And also improve for some facilities like the bike.. they provide lots of bike, but it's still not enough for all guests.. I got one, I parked in front of my door, and when I wanted to use, pop! It's gone!
That's all that i can write about AVANI SEPANG GOLD COAST RESORT. Hope it helps! Cheers!

For your information about the transportation going in or out here:
- Grab or Uber! (It's only around 35ringgit from KLIA) but sometimes no car available..
- Metered taxi driver.. you get the number from the taxi driver that send you to the resort (to pick you again from the resort) is around 100ringgit
- Using car from the resort, is around 150ringgit
- I heard some people said this resort provide free shuttle bus to MITSUI (but i forget to ask about this), and it would be much cheaper if its true and you can use it with your luggage
Oh! And also improve for some facilities like the bike.. they provide lots of bike, but it's still not enough for all guests.. I got one, I parked in front of my door, and when I wanted to use, pop! It's gone!
