[Hong Kong] Making a China Mainland Visa

There is no doubt that China Mainland is really close to Hong Kong. But not all nationality can go to China Mainland directly from Hong Kong. Some nationality must create a visa first..

I want to share about my experience create a China Mainland Visa in Hong Kong.. It was really an awful experiences!!

Where is it?
China Resources Building, (MTR Wanchai)
No.26, Harbor Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong SAR
Office Hours
Monday to Friday (except Hong Kongpublic holidays,)
9:00-12:00
14:00-17:00

The requirement documents:

1. Copy of passport

2. Copy of Hong Kong ID Card

3. Copy of your flight ticket to China

4. Copy of your hotel reservation in China

IMPORTANT TIPS:
1. Make sure you must photocopy all of them outside the building. Why? Because the photocopy inside the building was extremely really expensive. They cost you 2 dollars for a copy, and you must use two of 1 dollars, cannot use only 2 dollar coin. In outside, you can get a copy for only 5 cents..
2. Do not forget to bring all the itinerary (flight ticket, and hotel reservation by your name. If your hotel reservation is not with your name, you must give the passport of that name and that name must sign the paper for you.. so complicated!)

My experience, I must went to that place twice. Because in first I did not bring the hotel reservation, and the officer said, "No hotel reservation, No visa!"

Additional Information:
1. The visa will ready in 4 days. But you can pay more if you want quicker..

2. The location is in China Resource Building， level 3 for visa. Level 4 for passport.

3. You will pass security systems, very similar like immigration in airport. So you cannot bring any water，lighter，and the other things like in airport. Just pretend that you will take a flight. You must leave your-not-allowed-belongings outside the building. But remember! The officer do not want to be blamed if your belonging lost. 

4. The photocopier will cost you 2 dollar/pages. But you must use 1 dollar.. If you don't have any coins，you can change in receptionist. There's an old lady near the photocopier，and she didn't want to be bothered with coins's things. Because she responsible for photo machine.

5. After 4 days, you must come again and take your visa. 
6. Before take your visa, you must pay first.

I paid 300HKD for 2 entries.

In indonesia，you pay around 300HKD for single entry.
