[Hong Kong] The Cheapest Rate Exchange

Where is the cheapest rate exchange in Hong Kong?

Last December, I was so confused to find the cheapest money changer in Hong Kong, until my housemate who is Hongkongers told me one place in Central Hong Kong.

The name is Berlin Company Exchange. It is not like the others money changer that you can find in Hong Kong. You must take lift until 17th floor, and after you get out from the lift, there will be officer who will ask you whether you have booked by phone or not. If have not, you must queue near the door. But if yes, you queue near the window. 

Actually, the officer will ask you in Cantonese. So, after you read this blog, you know that the officer will ask about the booking. But do not worry, the seller can speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English. haha

Because as I said before, this money changer is different. They will not show you the rate in the TV screen (like others). You come to store, queue, buy, and go home.

How to go here?

Take MTR Central exit B, go straight to Des Veoux Rd. Turn right.

Walk until Citic Bank International, turn right. 

Go inside The Chinese Bank Building (besides seven eleven). Take lift to 17th floor.
